Emily Nash is the Regional Director for South Asia for the international non-profit organization Pure Earth. She implements programs to identify sources of environmental exposures, assess human health risks, and develop mitigation strategies, particularly around heavy metals in India and Bangladesh. She is also heavily involved in Pure Earth’s research projects and publications. She brings experience in environmental health research and governance in a range of international settings. Emily earned a Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences from Cornell University and a Master’s of Public Health in environmental health from the University of Michigan.
